Rita Harvey MBACP
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and of the Institute for Transactional Analysis (ITA).
I am a qualified counsellor holding a diploma in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis (TA) and a diploma in therapeutic counselling.
I have also trained at post-graduate level in TA Psychotherapy (MSc). My way of working includes both cognitive-behavioural and psychodynamic approaches.
I abide to the BACP and ITA codes of ethics and attend regular supervision to ensure that I work efficiently and respectfully with my clients.
I have experience of working with a variety of issues, including addictions, sexual abuse, relationship problems, inappropriate anger, academic and work difficulties, loss and self-esteem.
I am available to work short-term or open ended with individuals, couples and small groups.
I am bilingual and can work either in English or Italian.
