My therapeutic approach has evolved signifcantly over time and continues to do so. I use a range of therapeutic models to develop my work such as CBT & EMDR, and feel that it is essential to try and understand the issues that have led to a particular difficulty rather than simply find practical ways of managing distress or difficulty. Equally, I do not believe that you can use one model and hope to be a good 'fit' with everyone: flexibility is incredibly important.

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for people and their ability to find their own solutions to the difficulties that they experience. I have never been happy in taking an 'expert' approach in terms of telling people what they 'sould' to be doing. Each person has their own values and ideas about where they want to be in their lives, even young children. A therapist is, in my opinion, a person who helps to clarify how to find a way through difficulties without losing sight of the things that are really important to people.

Roz is an approved CBT and EMDR practitioner with the Doctors Chambers in London - Moving Minds Psychological Management and numerous medical/employment assistance providers.
She aims to help clients tackle issues, which impact on their health and general well being, ultimately creating positive change. Her work is clinically supervised to ensure good practice.
