I am a professional, quaIified counsellor. A calm, warm, and caring person who will not judge you. My open minded, sensitive approach to the therapeutic relationship, in which you are unconditionally accepted, provides a calm, safe space for you to explore personal life difficulties and help you understand troubled feelings, heal and grow.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My training is accredited by the BACP and I abide by their Code of Ethics. As a counsellor, my aim is to provide my clients with a high quality therapeutic service.
My qualifications and training include Postgraduate. Dip. Counselling (Distinction); BSc; Dip. Env. and Dev.; Transactional Analysis 101 and training with the Relate Institute. Prior to establishing my private practice based in the centre of Chester, I worked with clients within the NHS. I also counsel clients for Relate.
Work Approach
I work from a humanistic/person-centred perspective, integrating other approaches when required. These interventions are always tailored to the client's needs.
I work with individuals, couples and groups on a short and long term basis.

Therapy Services include....
Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy for a wide range of difficulties including, bereavement and other losses, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, loneliness, trauma, abuse, sexual identity, stress at work, cultural issues and problems relating to health and disability.
Relationship and Couple Therapy for individuals and couples experiencing difficulties in their relationship.
Group Therapy facilitated therapeutic support groups and personal development groups.
It is an important decision to come to Counselling and Psychotherapy and it may feel difficult to take the first step. Nevertheless, in a safe, confidential environment people are often surprised to discover how quickly they are able to overcome their initial discomfort and feel able to discuss their personal issues.
Anna Constantine Counselling and Psychotherapy Services is located at Watergate House, 85 Watergate Street, Chester, ideally suited for clients throughout the North West, including Chester, Cheshire, Wirral, Merseyside, Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales.
