I am a qualified counsellor
FdSc in Integrative counselling (Foundation degree, university of Greenwich)
I also have certificates in counselling skills and studies at level 2 and 3 , awarding body, the CPCAB, (counselling and psychotherapy central awarding body)
I am currently in private practice but have worked with children and young people , alcohol and substance misuse.
I am currently teaching counselling skills and personal and social development skills.These skills are essential to help build confidence within personal and social roles. I teach adults as well as young people.
Work Approach
I am an Integrative counsellor and work to my own model , influenced by humanistic , solution focused and cognitive behavioural approaches.
This means that I work with my clients to help find solutions and relief from presenting personal and professional challenges/problems by developing and strenghening self awareness, self management and personal skills in a supportive environment.
