Welcome to Counselling Choices. We are an independent group practice providing comprehensive counselling and psychological services based in the City of London.
We have extensive professional experience providing confidential therapy to individuals, couples and organisations. We believe each person and company is unique and our therapy is tailored to meet our clients’ differing personal and professional needs.
We understand therapy can be a difficult decision and at times professional support may be required. You can be assured our commitment to you is at the forefront of our work.
Work Approach
Our service provides a range of evidence-based therapies to help and support many emotional, psychological and life difficulties. Our aim is to help individuals, couples and organisations gain the skills and strategies to recover from past and present experiences or to change unwanted behaviours that affect daily life. We work mostly on a one-to-one, couple or in group session basis. Our aim is to provide prompt admission to our services and minimise the length of treatment ensuring a timely return to independent living. The length of therapy can be decided with your therapist and this can range from one to six sessions to having long term therapy with open ended contract. Following an initial assessment we will design a programme of treatment specifically to meet your needs.
About Counselling Choices
The founders and directors of Counselling Choices, known as CC are Vanessa Emile and Miriam Nadler. Both are practising counsellors/psychotherapists who bring an extensive range of clinical experience working in the private, voluntary and business sectors. The management team both continue to practice with Counselling Choices as well as manage the day-to-day activities of the group practice. This means our clients receive our full commitment, high quality individual attention and support at all times.
The partnership was formed through our commitment to provide a professional and ethical service to our clients. Together we have been able to collaborate and enhance our skills, experience, knowledge and understanding in providing a professional and confidential therapeutic service to our clients. We have a small number of associate partners working with us who are specialists in their respective therapeutic fields and bring their training and expertise to the work where needed.
CC operates within an integrative framework offering a range of professional and personalised therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families and organisations.
CC is based in the City of London, located opposite Liverpool Street Station, in easy walking distance of Bank, Moorgate, Old Street and Aldgate Stations.
