A qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing confidential Long Term Counselling Brief Therapy and Time Limited Counselling
A member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy I subscribe to and practice within their framework for ethics in counselling and psychotherapy.
In 2003 I embarked on an Initial counselling skills course and trained with a Rape Crisis Centre in Interpersonal Trauma, joining them as a student counsellor. Post Counselling Qualification I continue to work extensively with issues of interpersonal trauma and I'm presently studying Interpersonal Trauma at Masters Level
I have experience of providing counselling in private practice, employee assistance programmes and voluntary agencies.
Work Approach
I practices with key emphasis on a humanistic psychotherapeutic experience, integrated with seeking out solutions, a client led, non-directive approach to counselling and psychotherapy.
