I am a Chartered Counselling Pyschologist and HPC registered Practitioner Psychologist. I trained at City University, London, on the doctoral-level 3-Year Programme in Counselling Psychology where I am also currently completing a research doctorate in psychology.
Over the past six years I have held a variety of posts in NHS, private and voluntary sector healthcare settings, providing psychological therapy to diverse client groups across a range of presenting issues.
I also hold the Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing (Level A & Level B Intermediate) and am a member of the British Psychological Society's Register of Competence in Occupational Testing.
Work Approach
Evidence-based practice and thoughful client-treatment matching are core values of Counselling Psychology, and Counselling Psychologists are trained in a range of therapeutic approaches. Both pre- and post-qualification I have developed, and been assessed in, a variety of approaches - including person-centred, psychodynamic, brief solution focused, and cognitive-behavioural (CBT) therapies. Towards the end of my training I opted for specialisation in CBT and this remains the predominant approach underpinning my practice. I also have a particular interest in Personal Construct Psychology.

She has recently established an independent practice to offer psychological therapy and counselling to individual clients, on a private, self-referring basis.
A limited number of reduced fee places are available to individuals on a low income.
